IT Field Support Engineer - Al Dhafra Region - Smart Technology Services DWC-LLC
• Maintaining full functionality of all ICT devices and not limited to PCs, printers, IP Telephony, A/V equipment, CCTV, Access Control and other equipment used at customer location(s).
• Providing telephone and desk side technical support for Smartworld Employees.
• Testing and implementation of applications images and patches to the Desktop and Laptop hardware in line with Defined Software Library.
• Creation and maintenance of standard images for existing hardware (Laptops and Desktops).
• Maintaining a regular Asset (Hardware and Software) listing for the Internal Estate.
• Managing associated Spares and Warranty procedure with hardware suppliers.
• Performing duties in a structured manor to ensure internal SLA’s are met or exceeded.
• Process all Installs Moves, Add and Changes (IMAC) in accordance with assignments.
• Follow defined processes for Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
• Make recommendations to management where applicable.
• Providing support or deputize for Line Manager where required.
• Provide support and guidance to Support Engineers to constantly up skill team and create value for the organization.
• Proactively seek areas for improvement to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain excellent working relations with customer and team through maturity and experience within assigned role.
• Provide initiatives that will provide end user benefits and maintain his satisfaction
• Capability of initiating Knowledge Base updates for technical solution
• Liaise with Hardware vendors for next Level Support
• Performing all other job-related duties as assigned.
