Network Engineer - RAFAL Real Estate Development Co. Ltd.
• Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, installation and support of Network requirements.
• Ability to discuss technical aspects of data, network, and security
• Good experience managing the delivery of IT Infrastructure projects.
• Experience in CCNP, CCNA, Security, Switching, Routing.
• Review technical project requests, analyze and determine required steps to implement the project Providing Network engineering and technical support, including problem analysis, troubleshooting and resolution for WAN, LAN, VLAN, & WLAN setup.
• Troubleshooting& pro-actively looks for weaknesses in the IT infrastructure so that they are identified &rectified before they can affect business operations.
• Providing, developing, & writing systems and applications documentation and guides for end users.
• Develop & maintain close working relationship with departments to ensure IT meets operational needs.
• Providing technical support in presentations, demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products to ensure the system is functioning according to specifications.
• Participate in the development of the departments strategic goals and direction.
• designs, installs, upgrades, configures, and repairs local and wide area network hardware and infrastructure; valuates, tests, and recommends appropriate technology
• installs and tests computers and related network hardware and software; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies
• maintains network maps of all sites, and rains concerned with network troubleshooting techniques.
• Managing email, anti-spam and virus protection.
• Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
• Monitoring network usage.
• Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers.
• Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems.
• Ensuring that all IT equipment complies with standards.
• Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password.
• Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet.
• Provide network documentation, training and guidance for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
• Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with site staff.
• Conducts technical research on network upgrades and component to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system.
• Managing the website and keeping internal networks running.
• Monitoring the use of the web by employees.
