Winding Trainer - Manpower Middle East
Our client is now recruiting for a Winding Trainer. You will be directly reporting to the Production Manager
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Administrative Management
• Provides introductory classroom training with trainees on all phases of the motor stator winding process and the observance of all safety rules/guidelines.
• Provides training in obtaining instructions from the Motor Department Supervisor/Manager regarding schedules and priorities of ESP motor stators to inspect, prep., wind and test.
• Provides training in the preparation of materials requisitions for the winding of ESP stators.
• Provides hands-on training in the inspection of unwound stators, removal of burrs/sharp edges as necessary and installation slot liners.
• Provides hands-on training in the installation of insulation materials and thread/wire protection tools in stator housing ends.
• Provides hands-on training in the inspection and installation of winding needles in lamination slots and the performance of required electrical tests.
• Provides hands-on training in the understanding and checking of winding charts and the pulling/measuring/spark testing of appropriate lengths of magnet wire for the stator volt/amp ratings to be wound.
• Provides hands-on training in the pushing/pulling of magnet wire through lamination slots and the performance of required electrical tests upon completion of each phase.
• Provides hands-on training in the removal of thread/wire protection tools and the performance of necessary inspections/tests.
• Provides hands-on training in the preparation of winding reports for manufactured/repaired ESP stators.
• Ensures safe working practices in the motor winding area.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Follows all relevant Operations’ policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Promotes the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within APC.
Safety, Health and Environment
• Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Participates in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls.
• Reports on changes within APC that impact relevant safety, health, environmental management and social responsibility policies, procedures and controls
