Senior Software Engineer - Saint Neots
Development of code in C/C++ to MISRA coding standard using real time operating systems
Requirement capture and documentation
Development of firmware for embedded systems with limited power and resources
Work with team members to create maintainable and modular software architectures
Work with test driven development methodology
Creation of test cases, test code and test reports
Trouble shooting and debugging at hardware level for new and legacy devices
Creation of new and maintenance of existing software
Work with other design engineers (including global teams) together with cross functional members of new product introduction teams
Creation of design description documentation, software module user guides and input for customer facing documentation
Working with colleagues to ensure successful New Product Introduction
Local multi-discipline R&D team
Working to demanding timescale to achieve project objectives
Able to reach set goals despite obstacles, setback or uncertainty
Able to see projects through from concept to completion
Willing to fully participate in a multi-disciplined team to work to produce good quality, documented and tested work
