Technical Manager - AL DARWISH ENGINEERING
· The correct candidate should be a certified (Civil Engineer) or with relevant proven sound experience not less than 15 years out of which at least 10 years should be in Gulf region in the similar post.
· Previous assignment should be as Technical Manager in a large infrastructure and Road
works projects dealing with Ashghal / Kahramaa etc.,
· Co-ordinates with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, MEP Coordinators, Senior
Engineers and Sub-contractors for the overall execution of project related to technical issues. *Proven ability in checking all contract specifications, drawings and contract documents etc. and checks all materials and other submittals prior to submission* to the consultant by the Main Contractor and all subcontractors for correctness, adherence to architectural, structural, MEP related works etc. and acts as a coordinator for all matters related to the subcontractors, submittals etc.
· Liaison with QC Engineer & Safety Officer on Quality & Safety related issues.
· Directs drawing office personnel for the preparation of shop drawings as planned & onward
submission to the Consultant through the Construction Manager / Project Manager.
· Monitor subcontractors’ activities closely in order to adhere to the Project Quality & Safety requirements and adherence to the Project specifications.
· Analyzes deviations and change of scope, incorporates changes in association with the
Project Manager, if necessary re-schedules activities.
· To be responsible to solve the technical problems at sites by proposing suitable alternate methods in coordination with the Consultant at no cost effect.
· Responsible to advise the QS / PM for any variation during the progress of works and submit the variation claim in time.
· Technical Manager reports directly to the Project Manager.
