Clinical Pharmacist - King Saud Medical City
- Monitor Physician’s order and the medication administration record to ensure the proper dispensing of pharmaceuticals, the identification and correction of potential allergic reactions, drug interactions and incompatibilities.
- To participate in prescribing and follow-up of Total Parental Nutrition (TPN) Service.
- To participate in drug usage evaluation program.
- To participate in related programs (ADR, medical error, non-compliance…etc.)
- Advice Satellite Pharmacy Service providing Drug Information when necessary; to advise outpatients on correct administration of medicines.
- Conduct or assist with in & out-service and training of hospital/pharmacy personnel, including clinical pharmacy training.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of drug formulary.
- Participate in patient counseling program, clinical intervention program.
- Maintain medication level & therapeutic monitoring program.
- Participate in drug information & poisoning information programs.
- Participate in the following committees but not limited to:
- Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee
- Infection Control Committee
- Antibiotic Policy Committee and any other committee related to pharmacy services.
- Participate in all clinical pharmacy services related to the hospital department.
