Job Description
Job Title: OPERATION MANAGER
Reports to: General Manager
He is the head of the operations department. He supervises and guides the Regional Area managers toward achieving their targets to meet previously set common goals.
• He should review and manage all Shawarma stores Operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Recruit, lead and develop a team of ROM, ensuring ROM’s are kept up-to-date regarding business strategies; region and company goals and expectations; and food unit performance standards.
• Assist area managers with annual business planning process, establishing and realizing performance objectives, KPI, meaningful development and succession plans.
• Monitor progress towards objectives and development plans on a quarterly basis, placing an emphasis on results versus activities and the development of sound business acumen. Conduct annual performance reviews and informal performance appraisals as appropriate.
• Provide input to the developmental process regarding the assessment of high potential employees and the identification of appropriate career paths and succession plans for Area Managers within relevant region.
• Contribute to the Operations unit’s annual business planning process, ensuring that relevant issues from specific region of operations are taken into account.
• Oversee the management of the financial performance of a suite of restaurants, reviewing monthly forecasts for country on sales and ticket count; weekly controllable; sales and profits; and reports on mystery shops in order to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking and to identify and resolve potential problems in meeting financial and strategic goals.
• Ensure execution of operating standards that optimize returns on assets and increase sales and profits.
• Manage and oversee new projects and project rollouts, equipment replacement, test programs and vendor relations.
• Remain abreast of relevant industry changes, including business management areas, technological developments, competitor activity and legal issues. Apply this knowledge to the job and the development of ROMs.
Assist ROM’s in overcoming obstacles to effective operations, ensuring restaurants operate at a high-quality level with an emphasis on service excellence while adhering to health and safety.
Respond to requests for project support, information, reports and other communications from other department heads as and if requested.

Qualifications:
Essential:
• Minimum 7 - 10 years’ experience in field management role within similar fast food environment.
