Environmental Project Manager - Parsons International Limited
In this role you will provide technical, logistical and organizational leadership in the area of environmental assessment and soil and groundwater remediation. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, scientists and technicians who will perform collection and analysis or environmental samples from various media. We expect you to develop and revise site conceptual models; evaluate remedial strategies; and optimize and manage remedy implementation and operations and maintenance activities for multiple projects. Additional Responsibilities will include:
Experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and presentations for regulatory agencies, and in briefing clients and senior Parsons personnel.
Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among existing and occupied facilities - experience working within an existing refinery and their HSSE and process requirements is definitely required.
Experience and familiarity with providing environmental support to operating facilities, and experience with traditional and innovative remediation technologies. Remedial Process optimization experience is a plus.
Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. Markets and secures additional work with client. Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
