تدور احداث فيلم Fashion 2008 في أحد أحياء الهند البسيطة عندما تربح الفتاة (ميجنا ماتهور) في مسابقة لملكات الجمال وتقرر أن تعمل عارضة أزياء مما يسبب لها مشكلات مع والدها الذي يريدها أن تصبح محاسبة فتقرر (ميجنا) أن تترك منزل والدها وتنتقل إلى مومباي وهناك تعيش في البداية مع خالها وزوجته اللذين يطلبان منها ترك منزلهما عندما يعلمان أنها تظهر في المجلات بملابس غير محتشمة حيث تنتقل مجددا لتعيش مع بعض الأصدقاء لتنطلق شهرتها وتصبح نجمة معروفة
